Learning Objectives
- Identify at least one activity for establishing a therapeutic rapport with clients.
- Identify at least two of the primary sensory and neurological functions that inform safety/therapeutic challenges for clinicians and their clients
- Identify three basic supplies needed to incorporate creative techniques to clinical practice.
- Utilize at least three playful and creative activities as a measurement tool.
- Identify how to apply 5-6 play therapy interventions that facilitate communication, promote self-expression, and enhance therapeutic rapport to improve client's personal strengths.
- Describe at least 2 ways integrating creative expression assists both the clinician and the client with emotional regulation.
